The hotspots

The famous circle tramline nr. 10- and trams nr. 7 and 6 have a stop nearby the B&B- also the metro stop ( WEESPERPLEIN) is only a few minutes walk.

The trams take you in a few minutes to the LEIDSESQUARE one of the busiest and popular squares of Amsterdam. From here one walks to any tourist attraction in this cityheart of Amsterdam, as: THE FLOWERMARKET- MADAME TUSSAUD`S- DAMSQUARE-REDLIGHT DISTRICT-ANNE FRANKHOUSE and lots more.

Of course walking via the WATERLOOSQUARE going down to the DAM SQUARE and enjoy all those canals and 16 th and17 th houses is also possible. The apartment you are staying in is located in the midst of this all.

Or take a bike and do what the amsterdam folks do.

The famous Saturday market 'de lindenmarkt' and the farmersmarket 'de noordermarkt' are a must and so is the well known Jordaandistrict. This old area in Amsterdam is famous for its variety of galleries, shops, fashion, cafes, restaurants, and Monday and Saturday markets.
The Anne Frankhouse, the Saturday Farmersmarket and the typical 'Negen Straatjes' (Nine Little (shopping) streets) are the hotspots in the Jordaan.

Do not forget going to the Rijks- and van Goghmuseum, the Stedelijk Museum of modern art (now located near the Central Station), The Heinekenbrewery, and last but not least: the famous AlbertCuyp daily market.

Don't miss it!
