The hotspots

The canals and the well known Jordaandistrict are within walking distance from Mark’s B&B. This old area in Amsterdam is famous for its variety of galleries, shops, fashion, cafes, restaurants, and Monday and Saturday markets.
The Anne Frankhouse, the Saturday Farmersmarket and the typical 'Negen Straatjes' (Nine Little (shopping) streets) are the hotspots in the Jordaan.

Around the corner from Marks, circle tram 10 will take you within 6 minutes to Amsterdam centre with its famous hotspots:
The Red Light District, Leidseplein with it's bars, cafe's and theatres, the Museumdistrict - with the Rijks- and van Goghmuseum, the Stedelijk Museum of modern art (now located near the Central Station), The Heinekenbrewery, the beautiful Flowermarket and last but not least: the famous AlbertCuyp daily market.
